Lisa Kwiecien has been in the IT field in various capacities since 1992. Starting out in the early 90's building computers and providing software and hardware support for a small San Antonio computer firm, she spent several years as a computer technician before transitioning to computer application training. In 1998 she moved on to web and graphic design full time.
As an in-demand designer, Lisa has created web, graphic, and Flash designs for such companies as Clear Channel Communications, Disneyland, the United States Army, the Fine Art Museum of San Francisco and the Smithsonian.
In addition to over ten years in the IT field, Lisa has experience in radio broadcasting and does voice-over work and voice direction for various 1 Other C Productions projects. Currently, while juggling her many other projects, Lisa is serving as an adjunct instructor at the Art Institute of Austin.
Lisa enrolled in the Radio, TV, and Film department at San Antonio College and completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with a focus on media studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1993. She began the Master of Arts program in Political Communications and Behavior in 1996, and is awaiting the completion of her thesis to earn her MA in Political Science.
Born and raised in South Texas, Lisa now lives in Austin with her husband and artistic accomplice, Eric, her beautiful son, Xander.
